I am new to this group. Looking for building networks with other Nursing Academic Coaches as I work on trying to create a role in our department. I currently have this concept as my performance goal for this year but would love some insight of where to get started with all of this in order to be successful for the students.

Hi Amanda! I would love to join the conversation! At my school, there are two of us! My colleague started as a "remediation coordinator" and eventually transitioned to "Director of Academic Success." She was solo from 2013 to 2022, when I started adjuncting with her, and now I'm the full-time Academic Support Coach for our SON. It's amazing how much has changed since she started, how much our school has grown, and how our NCLEX pass rate has skyrocketed!
